official WP8 Twitter app needs update

The Windows Phone 8 official Twitter app received an update today, bringing more in line with other mobile versions and the addition of a few specific features to boot WP8.
The most immediate changes are transplanted characteristics of iOS and Android Twitter apps, such as the new home, Connect, Discover and Me tabs at the top of the application.
The four tabs give users quick access to your main timeline, mentions, trends, direct messages and personal lists.

Also bringing parity for Windows Phone app is adding search buttons and composing Tweet, which will appear in the bottom of the screen, regardless of which tab is open.
While much of the Twitter App update relates to existing features in other smartphones, Windows Phone 8 gets a unique advantage.
With the update, users can set their friend feeds, lists and search directly to the home screen of Windows Phone as a live tile.
The Live Tile support is a small addition, but should make it faster and easier to checklists and records unchanged through the main application tabs.
Windows Phone 8 users can download the update from the official Twitter app from today.
