The tiara could be the first HTC smartphone with Windows 8 GDR2, the second update to Microsoft’s mobile operating system, according to rumors specifications.
Listed along with “Windows Phone 8 GDR2” as the operating system are other specs leaked by Unwired View unearthed that put this phone in the mid-range category.
The components include a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, 4.3-inch WVGA Super LCD2 display, 1GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and a 1800mAh battery.
These rumored HTC Tiara specifications almost perfectly aligned with the mid-range of the company, with HTC Android smartphone A SV.
The only exception is that the version has a slightly higher WP8 8MP rear facing camera through SV 5MP one.
The release date HTC Tiara is said in mid-May, according to the same rumor, but the company is not ready to publicly crown its first smartphone Windows 8 GDR2 yet.
“HTC does not comment on rumors and speculation,” said the company TechRadar when asked for a comment on the leaked specifications.
