New Android Mini PC, with the name of MK812, was launched this month. The MK812 is the size of a USB flash drive, but comes packed with a host of great features. Housing processor 1.6 GHz dual core, the MK812 can be connected to a compatible TV to run Android applications. The device reportedly runs on the operating system version 4.1.2 Android Jelly Bean. What makes the MK812 different from other similar clubs mini Android is the fact that this sport device as an external antenna features WiFi, a built in camera and a Bluetooth module. There are still some Android mini-PCs out there that packs all these features along with a quad-core or dual-core processors. This was not the case last year, as all little droid is stuck then had slower processors and less RAM. Other competitors feature rich of the MK812, however, suffered from poor wireless reception. The MK812 external antenna solves the problem, with better WiFi reception. The Rockchip RK3066 Cortex-A9 dual-core CPU in MK812 is already known to be energy efficient. With a Mali 400 GPU and RAM of 2 GB, the USB memory device size also supports AirPlay, which is found only on Apple devices to date. MK812 also has an HDMI connector, 2-megapixel camera and also supports Flash and HTML 5 11.x, according to reports. The appliance heats up quickly thanks to the aluminum housing. The built-in 8 GB storage capacity can be expanded via memory cards. The price of EUR MK812 is reported to be more than Rs 5,000 and has not been confirmed.
