A judge allows the two companies to insert the iPhone 5, Galaxy S III, and other devices to the list of products that allegedly infringe on each other’s patents.
A number of new devices have been added to the patent claim in a legal order that was filed jointly by Apple and Samsung today. Included in the devices Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S III.
U.S. Judge Paul Grewal both companies agreed to add devices to the case, which is scheduled to go to trial on March 31, 2014. Supplied with both Apple and Samsung modified stipulations for their original submissions, which are part of the Galaxy Nexus case of Apple and not the patent trial between the two companies ended last August.
Apple said the Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S III with Android 4.1, Pro Rugby, Galaxy Tab 8.9 Wi-Fi, and 10.1 Galaxy Tab 2 to the list of devices that it considers infringes its patents, while Samsung inserted into the iPhone 5.
Previously, the Galaxy S III Mini was included in the list, but Apple missed after Samsung agreed not to market or sell the device in the U.S.
