Cobra iRadar Atom detector slims down, buffs up

LAS VEGAS – Cobra showed an enhanced version of its detection system iradar front ofCES 2013 with the debut of the new hardware and iradar Atom version 3.1 update for the corresponding iradar application for smartphones.
The new hardware sticks with elegant aesthetics established with the previous generation iradar 200 detector. The glossy black box still lacks a display of its own exteriority of LED lights and some can still be used with or without the help of the smart phone application iradar in a paired Android or iPhone. However, the new Atom iradar is 35 percent smaller than the previous model, taking up less visual space from his perch on the windshield of your car.
Cobra is also claiming double the radar detection capability and sensitivity of this new model of the atom, which means it must be capable of detecting radar detection of law enforcement further.

In addition, the Cobra iradar application for iPhone and Android will be receiving an update that adds a few new features, most prominently a Car Finder function marking the GPS location of your car when you turn iradar hardware and provides directions to walk back your trip when you need them. Other updates consist largely of a more streamlined interface with large buttons that appear on screen to report speed traps and hazards that are easier to take advantage in a competitive and new sliding menu for secondary options that are revealed with a bang .
The new Cobra iradar Atom and updated version of the application is expected to be available in Q2 2013. The application is free, but it will cost you around $ 200.

  1. looks legit, i def need one, starting to get to many speeding tickets lol, had a cobra before and it worked really well, this new one looks like it would be awesome, probably pay for it self to haha
